FAQs about Chinese Medicine

  • Yes, I sure do. I have herbal preparations suitable for children aged 6 months old and above.

  • New patients will have an initial consultation, followed by their first follow-up consultation ~2 weeks later.

    Chinese herbal medicine formulas require regular modification throughout the treatment process. Follow up consultations are required every 3-4 weeks for the remainder of treatment.

  • When prescribed by a registered practitioner, Chinese herbs can be taken alongside most prescription medications.

    At university, Chinese medicine practitioners undertake training in Western biomedicine and pharmacology to ensure that they can safely prescribe Chinese herbs to people who may be taking other medication.

    Chinese herbs are always taken at least 2 hours away from prescription medications.

  • Chinese herbs vary in price.

    As a general guide, custom raw and granule herbal formulas cost around $45-$60 per week. Tinctures and pills may be prescribed in addition to this, and cost around $20 per week.


    Some skin conditions require higher dosages of herbs. These herbal formulas cost around $75-$100 per week. Please get in touch to discuss your individual skin needs.

  • At this stage, no.

    I am registered to practice Chinese medicine in Australia and my wonderful dispensing partners all operate within the Australian postal and delivery network.

  • Australian private health insurers do not offer rebates for Chinese medicine consultations conducted via telehealth (online and phone consultations).
